Terms & Conditions – BookmyFestive

1. Platform Role & Responsibility

BookmyFestive acts solely as a digital intermediary connecting wedding service vendors and customers. We do not own, operate, or control any of the services provided by vendors listed on the platform.

We strive to verify vendors and maintain quality listings through basic verification processes. However, we do not guarantee service quality, delivery, pricing, vendor behavior, or the accuracy of vendor-provided information. Any dispute, loss, or dissatisfaction arising from vendor-customer interactions is strictly between the two parties involved. BookmyFestive and Dedic Infotech are not liable for such issues.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to any user who violates these terms or engages in fraudulent activities.

2. User Eligibility

• Both vendors and customers must be at least 18 years of age.
• Using the platform with honest intent.
• Committed to not misrepresenting themselves or defrauding any party.

3. Vendor Listings & Payments

• Vendors must provide accurate, truthful, and up-to-date business information including valid licenses and certifications.
• A yearly subscription fee of ₹999 is charged for premium listing features.
• We reserve the right to suspend or remove listings that are fraudulent, inactive, violate our guidelines, or are reported multiple times.
• Payment for listings is generally non-refundable, except in cases of technical errors or as required by applicable law.
• Vendors are responsible for maintaining their listing information and responding to customer inquiries promptly.
• We may charge additional fees for premium features, advertising, or enhanced visibility.

4. Customer Responsibilities

• Customers are responsible for verifying vendor credentials, packages, pricing, and availability before booking.
• Any advance payments, cancellations, or service agreements made outside the BookmyFestive platform are at the customer’s own risk.
• BookmyFestive does not intervene in monetary, legal, or personal disputes.

5. Fraud, Misuse, & Abuse

• If a vendor is found cheating a customer (or vice versa), BookmyFestive may block the account and remove listings permanently.
• We strongly advise all users to maintain written agreements, proofs of payment, and proper communication records.
• BookmyFestive is not responsible for losses arising from user-to-user fraud.

6. Free Tools & User Data

We provide helpful tools including:

• Budget Calculator
• Wedding Checklist
• Timeline Tracker
• Guest List Manager
• Wedding Idea Board

These tools are free to use. Any data input is confidential, but users are responsible for maintaining backups.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, UI/UX designs, and features representing Tamil culture are owned by Dedic Infotech. Copying, replicating, or misusing any part of the platform will lead to legal action.

8. Termination & Access Restriction

• We reserve the right to remove users/vendors who violate any terms.
• We may refuse access to anyone without prior notice.

9. Modifications to Terms

BookmyFestive may revise these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after updates implies acceptance of the revised terms.

10. Payment Terms & Refunds

• Advance payments are processed securely through our payment partners.
• Refund policies are subject to vendor-specific terms and conditions.
• Platform fees and subscription charges are generally non-refundable.
• Disputed payments will be handled according to our dispute resolution process.

11. Limitation of Liability

BookmyFestive's liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from platform use.

12. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by the laws of India, with jurisdiction under the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Any disputes will be subject to binding arbitration as per the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 2015.

By using BookmyFestive, you accept these terms and agree to use the platform respectfully, lawfully, and with full awareness of the responsibilities outlined above.
