How to request account deletion

1. Send an email to support@bookmyfestive.com with the subject line “Account Deletion Request”.
2. Include the email address and/or phone number registered with your BookmyFestive account, and confirm that you want the account permanently deleted.
3. We will verify your identity (for example by confirming ownership of the registered email/phone) and process your request within 30 days.
4. You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete.

Data that will be deleted

When your account deletion request is approved, we delete or anonymize:

• Account profile information (name, email, phone, profile photo)
• Login credentials and authentication sessions
• Wedding planning data (checklists, budgets, timelines, preferences)
• Saved vendors, favorites, and in-app messages where tied to your account
• Vendor listing profile data if you are a vendor account (subject to legal holds below)
• Device tokens used for push notifications

Data that may be retained

Some information may be kept for a limited period where required by law, fraud prevention, accounting, or dispute resolution:

• Transaction / payment records: retained up to 7 years for tax and legal compliance (payment card details are handled by our payment processor, not stored by us in full)
• Support correspondence: up to 3 years from the last interaction
• Anonymized analytics / aggregated logs: may be retained without identifying you
• Records needed to investigate fraud, abuse, or legal claims, for as long as reasonably necessary

Delete some data without closing your account

You can also request deletion of specific personal data (for example profile photo, wedding planning notes, or marketing preferences) without deleting your entire account. Email support@bookmyfestive.com with the subject “Partial Data Deletion Request” and describe what you want removed.

Processing time

We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days. After deletion, account access is permanently revoked and cannot be restored.
